how did I miss these?

I recently stumbled across Jeff Bark's photography and I'm really glad I did. Taking a huge cue from Caravaggio, Ingres and even Cindy Sherman (although I think Bark's "garbage" scenes are more successful), the work still manages to not be derivative because it is photography and because the manufactured settings manage to stay contemporary, and not just because there are some car parts half hidden by foliage.
