The kid is attending "zoo camp" for two weeks this summer at our local zoo. After two days she knows the zoo layout backwards and forwards and also got a chance to met some
baby peacocks. Papa peacock spent a lot of time trying to impress onlookers and scare off anyone who got too close to his babies. Why don't they do zoo camp for grown-ups?

For that matter, why don't they have museum sleep-overs for adults? Almost every Friday, as I'm leaving, I see the kids tromping towards NH with their sleeping bags and pillows and cuddle-beasts, their parent / chaperone trudging behind all but forgotten ... I sometimes wonder if it's possible to rent a kid so I get to stay overnight, too. ;) --Mario
If I was still in the neighborhood you could rent mine!
I agree. I don't know why they don't open these sorts of things up to adults, too. We still have inner children. It wasn't just kids' pocket money making Night at the Museum a hit - adults are living out the fantasy of the museum coming alive at night, too.
