We have added something new to our bedtime ritual. Now, as I am tucking her in, my daughter asks me if I would like her to tell me a story.
It's unbelievably cute, and actually quite interesting to hear her renditions of Hot Fox Soup or The Three Little Pigs and just the other night, The Little Red Hen.
I can hardly wait to hear what she comes up with tonight. She promised to make up a story, next . . .

I laughed when i saw this. Check out Joy Bucket's entry today.
How creative of your little one. I can only imagine how great her versions are. You should record them.
We have been very into reading lately which is reassuring. I was worried for awhile that I was raising a dvd addict. Now my little one makes me read her at least one book at night. It's very sweet. It's even cuter watching her read to herself. She's very serious about it. So she's still a dvd addict but she reads!
I've been a little remiss in the reading lately, but she looks at books while I make dinner, so this has been a fun substitute. I wonder how I could tape her so she wouldn't be too self-concious. Last night's version of Rapunzel was great!
I checked out your blog - yes, synchronicity!
